NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

July 6, 2010

The Regular Meeting of the Webster Parish Police Jury will be held as follows:

DATE:                 TUESDAY, July 6, 2010

TIME:                  10:30 A.M.

PLACE OF MEETING:                2nd FLOOR POLICE JURY MEETING ROOM

                                                                WEBSTER PARISH COURTHOUSE                                                                                                                   410 Main Street, MINDEN, LOUISIANA   71055

PUBLIC HEARING:  To hear comments concerning the condemning or order demolish, remove or secure the mobile home located on property assessed to Frank and Cecile Stone and occupied by Betty M. Johnson, located at 1664 Fuller road, Minden, LA   71055

 

PUBLIC HEARING:    To hear  comments concerning the abandonment of  Waldron Road located in the SE/4 of NE/4 and NE/4 of SE/4 Section 4-20-9 and a parcel located in the W/2 of NW/4 of Section 3-20-9;  the road is off of the Wiley Webb Road NE of Blue Run Road.

1.                    Additions to the agenda.

 

2.                    Adopt the minutes from the June 1, 2010 Finance Committee Meeting, the June 1, 2010 Buildings and Grounds Committee Meeting, and the June 1, 2010 Road Committee Meeting, and the June 1, 2010 Regular Meeting. 

 

3.                   Approve invoices for payment:  Thursday,  July 8,  2010

4.                   Employee Recognition for retiring employees:

A-      Trevor Ray Jernigan- Unit I Road Department Employee

B-      John Ashley- Unit I Road Department Employee

 

5.                    Trailblazer, Ms. Amanda Cartmill – Entre.  Grant

 

6.                   To order the disposition of a mobile home located at 1664 Fuller Road.  (Public Hearing)

 

7.                    Resolution- endorsing action by the state concerning Bayou Dorcheat.

 

8.                   To abandon the Waldron Road.

 

9.                   To call for a public hearing to consider Webster Parish Ordinance #994—Commercial Vehicle Ordinance.
