NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

April 5, 2011

The Regular Meeting of the Webster Parish Police Jury will be held as follows:

PUBLIC HEARING: To obtain views on the adoption of a Twelve (12) District Single Member plan of reapportionment for Webster Parish to comply with reapportionment laws based on 2010 PL94171 Data and to rearrange change and relocate voting precincts.

PUBLIC HEARING: To obtain views on the housing and community development needs of the Police Jury and discussion of plan submittal of application for Louisiana Development Block Grant Program.

CALL TO ORDER:

1. Additions to the agenda.

2. Adopt the minutes from the March 1, 2011 Road Committee Meeting and the March 1, 2011 Regular Meeting.

3. Approve invoices for payment: Friday April 8, 2011 Steve Lemmons, Vera Davison, and Bruce Blanton

4. Budget Amendments, 1st Quarter, 2011.

5. Adopt Ordinance # _998_ a 12 member plan of reapportionment for Webster Parish.

6. Approve change of Polling Place for submittal to the United States Justice Department. Change Polling Place for precincts currently located at Stewart Elementary School and move these precincts to the Alternative School. (Due to Closure of Stewart Elementary School.)

7. Approve eligible grant applicant for FY 2012- FY2013 LCDBG.

8. Appoint Fran Harvey, Executive Director of Webster Parish Police Jury Office of Community Services.

9. Transfer of Ownership- Webster Parish Police Jury to Webster Parish Sewer District #1—under agreement on 2006 LCDB Grant funds.

10. Discussion on calling for an election to authorize an additional homestead exemption in Webster Parish for Disabled Veterans and surviving spouses.

11. Trailblazer, Olivia Ward, Botanist, Groundwater Quality, Entrepreneur program
