WEBSTER PARISH POLICE JURY

NOTICE OF MEETING

DATE OF MEETING

The Webster Parish Police Jury will hold the January Regular Police Jury Meeting on MONDAY, January 9, 2012 AM in the 2nd floor meeting room of the Webster Parish Courthouse, 410 Main Street, Minden, Louisiana.

The change in normally scheduled meeting time is due to the following, “On the second Monday in January after their election, the Police Jurors must meet at the Courthouse, take the oath of office, organize and elect a President from their own number as well as aVice President.  A majority of the Police Jurors constitute a quorum – 7 Jurors.” LA R.S. 33:1226 (Police Jury Association of Louisiana- Police Jury Manual).

Regular Meetings are fixed by the Police Jury, but Special Meetings can be held at any time it deems necessary.
