The Webster Parish Police Jury offers for sealed bid the following described property which is designated as the Site of the Old McIntyre Community House. The sealed bids will be formally opened on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Office of the Secretary-Treasurer, 410 Main Street, Room 302, Minden, Louisiana, 71055. A Minimum bid of $4,500.00 is required. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelope and “SEALED BID FOR McIntyre Property” clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope.
The site of the old McIntyre Community House property as described –
A 0.93 acre, more or less, tract of land located in the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter, (NW/4 SW/4), Section 36, Township 19 North, Range 10 West, Webster Parish, Louisiana, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the NE Corner of the NW/4 of the SW/4 said Section 36, and run South 00 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 900.73 feet to a point located on the apparent South right of way of Old Highway #80 (Dixie Overland Highway); thence run South 76 degrees 05 minutes 36 seconds West for a distance of 117.61 feet along said apparent right of way to a set ¾ inch iron rod; thence run South 01 degrees 03 minutes 03seconds West for a distance of 14.90 feet to a set ¾ inch iron rod; thence run South 01 degrees 03 minutes 03 No. 80; thence run South 45 degrees 05 minutes 01 seconds West for a distance of 440.12 feet along said apparent right of way to a set ¾ inch iron rod; thence run North 01 degrees 03 minutes 03 seconds East for a distance of 249.59 feet to a set 3/4 inch iron rod located on the apparent South right of way of Old Highway # 80 (Dixie Overland Highway) ****; thence run North 76 degrees 05 minutes 36 seconds East for a distance of 316.64 feet to the Point of Beginning.
****Acknowledgement #1: Along the West side of the property (the line that runs between the North and the South right of way of US Hwy 80) A private fence belonging to William and Donna Renz that encroaches over the line, is allowed to remain in place for the useful life of the fence.
****Acknowledgement#2: The successful bidder is obligated to the immediate and continuing maintenance obligation of the above described property.
