WEBSTER PARISH POLICE JURY

May 6, 2022

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Nick Cox, Chairman; Jim Bonsall, Vice Chairman; Bruce Blanton; Steve Lemmons; Steve Ramsey; Nick Cox; Ed Jordan; Beverly Kennon; Bernard Hudson and Daniel Thomas

Absent: Allen Gilbert and Randy Thomas

Mr. Nick Cox called the meeting to order and asked for additions to the agenda. 

Mr. Dodd Williams with Smith Shell nut Wilson discussed the investment plan for the funds from the sale of the landfill. The parish investment policy has already been adopted earlier in the year. Discussion followed.

Mr. Daniel Thomas moved, seconded by Mr. Ed Jordan to approve to invest the landfill monies in the amount of $20,000,000.00 for a 3- year average life investment with Smith Shell nut Wilson.
